So this is what “compassionate community” looks like! It’s when two join in partnership — Broken Sound Club of Boca Raton, FL and Boca Raton's Promise — and invite community advocates and business influencers to help keep our greater Boca Raton healthier. Just as CPR training is critical in saving lives, so is Mental Health First Aid Training. Hosted by Broken Sound Club, presented by Boca Raton’s Promise and underwritten from funds generously donated by sponsors for BRP’s recent Artist-in-Residents Weekend...we now have 24 new Mental Health First Aiders in our community! This social enterprise will provide: (a) a high quality customer experience in a competitive high-demand industry; (b) sustainable funding for future programs for children with special needs; and (c) vocational training and employment options for individuals with special needs.
