Our home construction season is in full force and we are looking for individuals and groups to join us Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays as we continue building safe and affordable homes in the Iowa City community. A great way for businesses and corporations to partner with us is through our Team Build program! Our Team Build sponsorship program combines financial support and volunteer service so we can raise funds and gather volunteers to build a safe, affordable home with a deserving family in our community. Businesses like United Natural Foods (UNFI) have a long history of participating in Team Build days and scheduled another volunteer day with us earlier this month! What is a Team Build? A Team Build includes sponsoring a day of building and providing employee volunteer labor to help build a Habitat home. A few of the perks we provide for Team Build days include: lunch for your build day, t-shirts for volunteers, additional recognition on our website, and more! Partnering with IVHFH gives you the opportunity to reap company, employee, and community benefits by communicating good corporate citizenship and social responsibility to the community and surrounding areas.
