(WCCUSD Twitter) Critical to our collective work moving forward, we must respond in real time to the public health crisis and remain steadfast around equity issues. Issues such as distance learning, access to healthcare treatment and basic needs for undocumented residents such as access to food, housing and relief from lost wages. Also important to the infrastructure of our broader community, sustaining Community Based Organizations and Cooperative and Small businesses owned by local entrepreneurs who are also employers for local residents. We are supporting resident leaders and partners to monitor these situations and ensure that our communities are protected and feel safe enough to access vital services. Thank you to all of our partners and leaders, now more than ever, the expertise from resident leaders and partners are needed and intersecting to work in concert for those most impacted during this crisis.
